WASHINGTON: Proud Boys Leader Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to five months in prison Monday for determining the black banners burning in Washington as part of the protest that supported President Donald Trump.
The key figure in the extreme right movement that played a major role in the January 6 attack on US Capitol, Tarrio was arrested two days before the event to tear the banner from the black church in Washington on December 12 and burned it to the Ministry of Justice.
He was charged with the destruction of the property, partly because of a photo he posted on social media posing with banners and matches in his hand.
Tarrio was also charged with having two high-capacity firearm magazines, which were illegal in Washington.
The 37-year-old child has organized a demonstration for Trump and against the black life of the racial justice protest material that has swept the country most of 2020 after the murder and shooting of African-American police.
At the end of last year he actively moved support for the January 6 rebellion, who saw hundreds of Trump supporters, including members of the hard-right-wing militia group such as a proud boy, attacking the US Legislative Hall to stop Joe Biden’s certification as president of the winner of the Section of Trump .
“We look almost like the right wing army,” said Tarrio in podcasts at runup until January 6 “These things are real.
We are in a war.” But when he arrived in Washington two days earlier, he was arrested on charges related to the December 12th, and was ordered to stay out of the city until his hearing.
In July he pleaded guilty of charges in the agreement of the application.
He was sentenced to 155 days in prison and a fine of $ 1,000, as well as $ 347 in restitution to church.
