According to the institution, the district typical cost for June was fixed depending on the auction sale which occurred in May.President of all NBLTMA Dhananjayan explained the whole issue that we’re facing now is since the buyers/transporters aren’t moving teas from this warehouse for reasons well known to them. The correspondence stated,”Tea Board function as licensing authority together with the instantaneous expansion like sale postponing and purchase cancellation should see that the resale price at market in Coonoor center has completely resisted the fiscal system of this Bought Leaf Tea Factories and now we’re finding it impossible to make the obligations into the tea drinkers’.It added,”This may have a chain reaction affecting each section of the production process, right to the procurement of their green leaves.
Thus, it is now mandatory that the cost fixation to June be repaired at the close of the month.
This exercise can be followed from the long run since it would help the market, particularly during such challenging times.” Dhananjayan stated,”Fixation of this district typical green foliage price in the close of the month was long pending petition ”
