Written by news2in

Yavatmal: Sanghatang District President Shikshak Bharati Simbao Pawar on Thursday asked the state government to supply foods through the Public Distribution System (PDS) with the help of smart cards.
Pawar says that if good quality food is supplied through PDS, it will ensure the true purpose of this scheme is fulfilled, where smart cards must be used.
Another system that will not help the government provide nutritious food to children, he added.
The state government has decided to credit the number to bank bank accounts studying in STD I to VIII throughout the country for nutritious food (‘Sakas Aahar’) the scheme is currently underway in schools.
There is a great hue and crying on the scheme because it carries an unnecessary burden on the teachers, besides corruption and pinching food ingredients here and there.
To avoid it and ensure that students who meet the requirements get nutritious food regularly, the government decides to credit the number into the student bank account.
Even though his intention was clear, it created a number of difficulties for their students and parents.
In addition, students in remote villages have not received information about this procedure.
The banking system is unknown in rural hamlets.
If the government advances with a new scheme, the bank’s workload will increase.
Students may not get nutritious food regularly because of the abuse of the money by parents.
It can be diverted for other needs in the household.
