Patna: The Chairman of Minister Nith Kumar on Thursday asked urban development officials and the housing department (UDHD) to provide housing facilities to poor homeless people throughout the city.
Nitish, who reviewed the work carried out by Udhd, said the scheme for the provision of housing facilities to poor homeless people was part of the vision of Bihar Atmanirbhar which underlined the Nischchay-II government program.
Under the scheme, multi-floor housing complex must be built to provide housing facilities to poor homeless families living in cities throughout the state.
CM asks UDHD officials to quickly identify places and points in cities where the housing complex must be built, and also ask them to start work in this way in a planned way.
Nitish also asked officials to conduct a careful survey to identify the poor in the homeless city, so it was not worth it to be opened open under the scheme.
CM reviews the progress made in connection with the activities that will be taken under the scheme of the Sankalp auditorium at the official CM residence through video conferencing.
UDHD’s main secretary presented detailed information about the work carried out in the scheme.
Other senior officials who also participated in a review meeting was the main secretary for CM Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary of Amir Subhani, Secretary of the Head of the Ministry of Finance-General Administration Siddharth and Secretary CM Anupam Kumar.
