Lucknow / Pratapggarh: Ten people, including the imitating candidates, were arrested for allegedly involved in the actions of the Malpractic exam during the Teacher’s Feasibility Test of Uttar Pradesh (UPTET) 2021, police said on Sunday.
Circle Officer (City) Abhay Pandey said the proxy candidate, identified as Amarjeet Verma, was arrested from the College Girls Examination Center Girls.
He appeared as a substitute for Vivek Kumar’s aspirant.
Electronic devices have recovered from them, Pandey said.
Likewise, Vijay Bahadur Saroj, appeared in the exam at Deepak Kumar, arrested from Prayagraj, Special Task Force (STF) said in a statement released in Lucknow.

Other proxy candidates, Pappu Singh aka Arnav Singh, a resident of the Vaishali District Bihar, was arrested in Jaunpur Regency.
In Moradabad, Sonu Pal, a member of the solver gang, who used to be a large number of candidates was arrested.
Three members of the gang solver including the mastermind and a candidate was arrested in Meerut.
The people who were arrested were identified as Monu Prajapati, a resident of Baghpat (Mastermind), Anil Kumar (candidate), a resident of Bulandshahr and King Tomar (Solver), a resident of Baghpat, said STF.
Similarly, Sarvjeet Verma (from Pratapgarh), Raju Kumar Manjhi (from the Siwan District in Bihar) and Dinesh Chandra Singh (Fatehpur) who used to fill a large amount of money from candidates to give them breakers, arrested from STF, said STF.
