PSPCL imposes a weekly 2 days for industrial consumers

PATIALA: PSPCL has decided today to force two weekly days for industrial consumers except for important categories and excluded with direct effects.
Two weekly days will start from 4pm on Thursday and continue until 3.
July.
PSPCL has appealed to government offices and the public sector to limit the use of air conditioning in the office for the next three days in the view of power shortages in the state.
The state cannot meet the request of 14500 MW.

Farmers throughout Punjab continued to protest a short supply of agricultural feeders when Punjab had retained the power supply between 11,791 MW to 12,842 MW after limiting the power supply to rural consumers, cutting agricultural pumps, and cuts that were not announced in cities.

BBMB supplies an average of around 800 MW in a day with a 1050 MW night peak.
