Ludhiana: The Ludhiana Alert Bureau, on Tuesday, caught a Junior Engineer (JE) from Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) to accept bribes of Rs 9,000.
The arrests have been identified as Ricky Garg, posted on the PSPCL, focal point.
Gurpeet Kaur Purewal, SSP, Wewa Bureau (EO Wing), said, “Amit Kanojia, a resident of Jamalpur colony, has filed a complaint that JE asks for bribes to issue a new power connection.” The alertness bureau put the trap and arrest the defendant near his office.
A FIR has been submitted.
