Nagpur: Yantra India Limited (YIL), the efforts of the New Defense Public Sector (PSU) which includes weapons factories in Ambajhari, have installed the display of products made in the unit there.
Such exhibits were held in various locations by various PSU defense throughout the country as part of the celebration of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
In Nagpur, Yil has exhibited the latest version of Pinaka Rockets, the main Army artillery weapon.
In addition, there are several shells used in different caliber artillery weapons such as 155mm and 105mm, regardless of the air bombs and ammunition used by the Navy and the Air Force.
Pinaka Rocket is one of the latest products made by YIL.
The work is also ongoing to bring a new variant of other shells too, said staff at the exhibition.
