Mandya: In other cluster outbreaks in educational institutions, 27 students of a college in the city of Nagamangala in the positive Mandyauji district for Covid-19 on Thursday, and the district health authority has asked to be closed for a week.

Dhanjay, District Health Officer, said his staff had carried out randomized tests to detect quickly and contain Covid-19 infections among students in schools and colleges, which is how clusters are revealed.

“We immediately beat all 450 students for Covid-19 and 27 tests found infected,” said Dr.
Dhananjay.
He said college would be allowed to reopen after a week, but it would depend on that situation.
“All infected students do not show symptoms and there are absolutely no indication that they carry a virus,” he said.
“We have cleaned the campus place and keep the eyes near all students.
We have asked parents to immediately report changes in their ward health.” This outbreak has, understandably, causing some anxiety among parents, many of which are now in conformity will send their children to class on campus.
