The previous state government has requested recommendations from IT industries regarding what countries need to do to attract more investment in it.
Industrial bodies unanimously on the need to open pubs and wine parlor, which they say will enliven relatively quiet nightlife in Kerala city.

Responding to another question, Excise Minister M V Govindan told the house that the government actively considered the production of wine such as light alcoholic drinks.

“It has been found that MDMA is worth RS 5.5 Crore one kilogram is being used in the state,” he said, adding that the government took strict action in narcotics cases.
