New Delhi: Krafton, a South Korean gaming company claimed that he had removed 25 Lakh accounts in the past month.
The company decided to do this to eradicate cheating on popular games, Mobile Indian Battlegrounds (BGMI).
The company also said that it had a zero tolerance policy of cheating and also constantly made an effort to minimize fraud and also erased cheating from BGMI.
“In line with its efforts, Krafton has now cleaned most of the cheating in the game, making BGMI a much more enjoyable experience, and will continue to take any steps needed to maintain BGMI and have fun,” the company said in a statement.
Title is only available for gamers in India.
The company also revealed that it had banned 25,19,692 accounts permanently and 7.06.319 temporary accounts between October 1 and November 10.
Some steps made by Krafton in that direction include Prebans, which replaces all temporary prohibitions with a permanent ban, leaving no possibility for the second chance.
Manual verification and prohibition of accounts that use or promote illegal programs among high rankings.
The team is monitoring the account in real time and forbid them permanently if there is an illegal program traced.
And, monitoring the real time YouTube for each channel that promotes illegal programs and blocks the channel immediately and if there are cases found.
Recently, the BattleGrounds Mobile India has announced several changes with respect to the login method for applications.
The company has confirmed by official post that the Facebook login will be disabled from November 5 for certain types of BGMI users.
The login change method only applies to Android users and will not affect iOS users at all.
The company has also confirmed that these changes are caused by policy changes on Facebook SDK.
