Jaipur: The publisher has recalled the biography of Rajasthan Governor Kalaraj Mishra who alleged ‘imposing’ at 27 universities.
Publishers, the International Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (IIME), have made a decision after the probe ordered by Raj Bhavan.
Toi has a copy of the letter issued for all 27 VCS by IIME, stating that they needed 18 months to publish ‘illustrated and lyrical accounts examined well “from the life of the Governor Mishra.
“If the book is not used, you are asked to restore the same,” the letter said.
Iime has released a biography at the governor’s house on July 1 after Snowballed material became a big controversy, on July 5, the governor’s house denied knowing the steps by the publisher and, on June 6, ordered an investigation of the problem.
The letter said that it was the usual practice to sell books during the book launch.
“We don’t know that there is a certain protocol not to sell books in such programs.
That happened because of a misunderstanding,” said the letter.
“I have received a letter from the publisher.
Detailing every university, except for a few, will definitely restore books because they don’t have academic grades,” said one VC that asked for anonymity.
The source at the governor’s house said that the investigation began with the publisher.
“It is certain that affiliates and connections of publishers in various ministries will be influenced by steps,” said a source.
IIM has claimed that it has been given the status of scientific research in the Industrial Training Agency by the Ministry of Textile.
