PUDUCHERRY: The mad scramble for articles posts one of BJP MLAs came into the end on Saturday when fans of party MLA A Johnkumar picketed the celebration office and secured it after destructive bash flags and banner demanding ministry post to their chief.
The fans went berserk after reports which the BJP chose to not give him a minister statement because he had been reserved from the Income Tax section to the taxation of over? 50 crore.
They gathered in the front of the party office from town limits with posters in the chief and also raised slogans demanding ministerial berth for him.
Johnkumar, that has been in Delhi with his son Richard Johnkumar and the other MLA P L L Kalyanasundaram to phone BJP leaders and impress them to incorporate him from the cupboard, told a part of colleagues over telephone he hoped a ministerial berth within a elected MLA in a minority neighborhood.
But he claimed he will stick to the decision taken by the party high command.
The saffron party eventually came out with a conclusion of supplying ministerial articles to a rotation basis to cajole its MLAs who raised a banner of revolt.
According to the agreement, former Congress minister A Namassivayam is going to likely be given a ministry post along with the remainder four (following one MLA was chosen as the speaker of the legislative meeting ) will function as ministry to a rotational basis.
“The BJP has started paying the cost of fielding turncoats and backstabbers because its applicants to contest the previous assembly polls.
