PUDUCHERRY: The Mbbs Calants and their parents in Puducherry have urged the Puducherry government to start an investigation into ‘double-birth fraud’ in the receipt of MBBS at Jawaharlal Institute of Education and Postgraduate Medical Research (JIPMER).

Some of their candidates and parents have submitted a memorandum to the Secretary (Revenue) Ashok Kumar, Jipmer Dean (acceptance) and other authorities concerned urged them to start an investigation into a double-birth scam in Jipmer.
