Chandigarh: After various complaints of fraud and malpractice, the Punjab police have canceled the exam done in August to fill 560 posts under the supervisor.
General computer-based tests to recruit sis in four wings – investigations, districts, armed police and intelligence – Police Punjab was held from August 17 to August 24 in different centers in the state.
This examination was removed in the direction of Charanjit Singh Channi’s minister and Deputy Minister of Chief Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to maintain integrity and justice from the examination process.
The date for the new exam for SIS recruitment will be told.
The recruitment council based on SIS recruitment has recommended scrapping from the exam after cheating and the use of malpractice is widely reported.
The report in this case was received by the DGP office on September 27 and DGP on Saturday (October 2) gave approval of the recommendation of the recruitment council.
Punjab police have registered three fir in the Mohali District, Patiala and Khanna.
On September 15, the DGP has formed a sit led by ADGP Parmod tires, special ADGP crimes and wings of economic violations, to forward fair and fast investigations for cases listed in this matter.
Sit had started a case investigation and so far caught 20 was accused of three fir.
