Pune: An elderly pedestrian was killed and five others was injured on Saturday morning after a truck driver who quickly fell asleep and hijacked through eight vehicles on the Katraj-Dehu bypass service line, near the Navale Bridge.
Senior Inspector Devidas Gheware from Police Sinhagad Road said, “The deceased has been identified as Vidyadhar Shankar Salunke (68) from Sahakarnagar.
