Pune: More than 250 villages in the district rural areas have recorded 100% first dose vaccination against Covid-19.
The district health office authority said there were at least 275 such villages.
Abhay Tidke, additional district health workers, Pune Zilla Parishad (ZP), told TII, “Some villages are only a few beneficiaries away from recording 100% vaccination with the first dose.
We are mikroplanning villages and beneficiaries in the midst of our efforts to increase vaccination In rural areas.
“According to Tidke, at least 200-300 vaccination sessions were held every day in rural pune.
They hope to increase it so the first resolution of vaccination doses is recorded in all talucas.
“We also aim to spread awareness among beneficiaries who are not vaccinated in rural areas through ‘Har Ghar Dastak’,” he said.
Pune Rural estimates the beneficiary target of 35.75 lakh, where more than 32 lakh has been vaccinated with the first dose and more than 17 lakh has been inoculated with the second dose.
On Wednesday, a total of 25,468 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Pune District in more than 500 vaccination locations.
