Pune: A 35-year-old man from Akurdi died of a severe injury suffering falling in the fall after his bicycle crossed the hump of roads at high speed in Chinchwad on Sunday night.
Police Nigdi said the victim Vishal Gaikwad rode a motorcycle at high speed and lost control of two-wheeled vehicles as soon as he reached the speed breaker near Shetkari Mala, a restaurant in Chinchwad.
An officer with Nigdi police said the accident occurred when Gaikwad was on his way to Akurdi.
The police have registered a case against the victim to drive neglect, he said.
On January 11, a 30-year-old man and his pregnant wife was killed after a tricycle crashed into their motorcycle.
The accident occurred in Pande Village near Bhor when Nilesh Salunke and his wife Priyanka from Pande Village, were on our way to the Sonographic Center in Shirwal.
