Pune: Five people died and four others were injured when a truck jumped to the wrong side of the Pune-Ahmednagar highway in Shikrapur after hitting the road divider and collided with a car and two motorbikes on Sunday night.
Police said Swapnil Pandit Kendale (24) from Kandivli in Mumbai and two relatives, Leena Raju Nikaase and Tejas Raju Nikase (23), both the residents of the Dandekar bridge area here, traveled in the car was killed.
Two other victims were Hingade Popular Vitthal (38) and his wife, Reshma (35) from Vasunde Village at Parner Taluka from Ahmednagar District.
