Pune: The Metropolitan Pune (PMR) area continues to add more Covid-19 (905) cases as against recovery (703) for second consecutive days on Thursday, each taking total infections above 11.29 lakh and 11, 02 lakh.
Rural areas add more than 500 new patients while the numbers at PMC rose above 200.
Pimpri Chinchwad reported 183 new cases.
The PMC and PCMC limits report less than 200 respective recovery, while release in the rural part fell below 500.
A total of 26,934 samples were examined for infections in the region on Thursday.
This includes more than 11,600 tests conducted in rural areas.
The area’s front level for that day stood at 3.3%.
A report by Health Officers Bhagwan Pawar stated that six more patients surrendered to infection in the region on Thursday.
Calculate the patient actively at PMR up to 7,723 on Thursday night.
