Pune: At least three flights were diverted and more than a dozen were delayed due to an error in the lights on the edge of the Pune airport runway on Monday night.
The source at the airport said while the operation slowly returned and five flights landed after 7:30 a.m., work on the runway was being carried out by the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Runway and airport air traffic control is managed by IAF.

Indigo flights from Pune to Bengaluru were diverted to Mumbai.
Flights from cities such as Delhi, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Mumbai were delayed.
Likewise, flights depart for destinations such as Nagpur, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata delayed.
