on Sundays.
Nothing was reportedly injured.
Warehouse, most consist of a large tin warehouse where food ingredients, vegetables, domestic goods and other items are stored, are completely damaged along with at least 20 electric vehicles used to transport goods.
“The safe contained around RS7 to 8 lakh money is also partially damaged and the currency worth estimated RS2 lakh is damaged,” said a Pune fire department and added that the value of the damaged currency was assessed.
With the help of MIDC, PMRDA, and Pimpri Chinchwad Fire Brigade, The Blaze was controlled by 2.30 in the morning and the cooling operation took place until 5:30 a.m.
on Monday.
One of the warehouse employees on the site told toi on Monday morning that the fire starts from the point of filling out electric vehicles and spreads to the adjacent air conditioning unit and other areas before anyone can react.
“There are around 10 to 12 people in the warehouse because there are many remaining due to changes in shift time,” said the employee and added, “two security guards were also on duty.” When the fire grew with intensity, people from surround villages rushed to the site and began to tell and help them inside the warehouse to move to a safer place.
“Warehouse is also a lot of hearing employees and individual disturbed speeches and they are transferred to safer places in priority,” said Danavan’s bandal, eyewitness.
“The villagers also suppressed water tankers into services to help attempt firefighting personnel to postpone the fire,” he said.
The relative of the city has land where the warehouse has been developed for storage and distribution of various items throughout the city.
Police Hinjewadi has registered a case in this relationship and the police team examined the site of the fire on Monday morning.
