Pune: Bottles of 750 land mosquito net in trouble

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has fined at least 750 city residents because they do not take precautions to prevent mosquito nursery surrounding.
The total fine is worth around Rs 1.75 lakh has been collected from such offenders for several weeks.
“The stagnant water at the location of these people has caused rampant mosquito breeding.
This ultimately causes bloody fever to many people.
So, we have collected them well and also issued a warning for all,” Sanjeev Wavare said, a senior official department PMC health.
In accordance with PMC data, in the course of hard action, various fines are charged, based on the number of sites and places of breeding in certain locations.
Drive is done around a month, and handles residential and commercial property.
Most of the mosquito breeding spots are found in used tires and abandoned vehicles, open tanks, flower pots, terraces, bathrooms, kitchen restaurants, garages, underground locations, and various markets.
“Dengue cases are found in 400 places, but only breed spots that are seen in other locations.
We have charged a fine as a warning to the people involved.
They must take precautions to avoid maintaining mosquitoes in their place,” Wavare added.
Experts say some residents who diagnosed with dengue fever show a quick fall in platelet counts, reaching up to 10,000 per microliter of blood.
