Pune: The Investigation Center Bureau (CBI), in a separate action, was trapped in two Havildar soldiers from the South Command and an Indian Air Force (IAF) civil officer in Lohegaon on charges of demanding and accepting bribes.
Both Havildars have taken a candidate’s native summons, who cleared the post ‘multi-tasking staff of multi-tasking staff (MTs), with the initial pretext of joining the formality and demanding RS2.5 lakh from him.
The CBI said in the release that the two Havildars agreed to collect RS50,000 as initial payments and even received RS30,000 through the UPI payment application.
The CBI court on Wednesday delivered two Havildar in police custody for five days.
