Pune: colleges and higher education institutions placing various settings when they prepare to reopen for physical classes from Tuesday after being closed since March 2020.
The date reopened on Saturday was postponed until October 12.
Kota Commissioner Pune Vikram Kumar said the revised orders allow universities, training classes and training institutions to be reopened on Saturday 12 October.
Kumar did not give reasons for changing the reopening date.

“We don’t want security problems.
Also, we want to give a lot of time to college staff to prepare,” Patil said.
Pune Collector Rajesh Deshmukh on Saturday said universities in rural areas would also be reopened from October 12.
The Institute said they expect local students to attend college, but students from outside Pune are expected to arrive after Diwali.
Sharad Kunte, DECCAN’s education community who runs Fergusson College and Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC), said their Institute will be reopened on Tuesday.
“All of our staff are vaccinated.
We did not expect students from outside Pune to return on campus on Tuesday, but local students, if they are vaccinated, they can attend,” Kunte said.
Class will continue in hybrid mode because there will be some students who will not be able to attend classes directly, said Kunte.
P B Buchade, Principal Abasaheb Garware College, said more students can be expected in most universities after Diwali.
“We will continue the physical class after a week because we need to get student vaccination data and organize classes with fewer students,” Buchade said.
Rajendra Zunjarrao, the principal of modern science and art trade, said the reoper has been planned in three phases.
“The first thing is called to be a student out, which means the last year students in the undergraduate and postgraduate program.
We will then concentrate on practical finishing for all, and then start college,” Zunjarrao said.
According to Zunjarrao, the theory class will be held in a way that staggered with a third of students who attend two days a week.
The University of Wiswakarma is also ready to reopen from Tuesday.
Deputy Chancellor Siddharth Jabade said 85% of Pune-based students were partly vaccinated while the remaining entirely vaccinated, according to the data they had.
“Given a large number of students who are partially vaccinated, the hybrid education model will be activated,” Jabade said.
The practice / direct practice examination of the last year is a priority, he said.
“Students from outside Pune will be given standard operating procedures for accommodation, reach Pune, food, health checks etc.,” he added.
