Pune: A fake train work racket was held in Pune after the Investigation Bureau personnel of the Train Protection (RPF), Pune, put a trap and captured someone at Pune Station recently, said press release on Friday.
The trap is placed based on verbal complaints by a woman, which is a kalyan population.
The complainant said that he was offered a job on the train for money.
Acting on complaints, the RPF formed a team under LK Sagar, Inspector of RPF.
The suspect has been identified as the Mayor of Cambli and he was identified by the complainant.
He was then taken to the Bhandup RPF office.
A case was listed under 420, 465, 471, 476 and 507 IPC against Mayur and a woman named Smruti.
