Pune: Day temperatures up more than 20 degrees

Pune: The night temperature rose slightly up to 8.9 degrees Celsius on Sunday compared to 8.6 degrees C recorded on Saturday by the Shivajinagar Observatory of the Indian Meteorology Department, which included most of the city of Pune.
However, cold factors in the air remain the same and can continue for the next few days, said IMD officials.
Continuous attacks from cold winds to the cold, besides, the gap reduced on the day and the night temperature and the presence of Western disorders has contributed to applicable cold conditions, IMD officials added.
Lohgaon Observatory, which includes the eastern suburb of the city, records night temperatures of 11.7 degrees C on Sunday, which is less than 12.1 degrees C recorded on Saturday.
The north wind has penetrated the country over the past few days and this condition is likely to continue in the future, officials said.
“There is anticlonic circulation at a lower level of atmosphere.
Thus, the North Wind pattern turns around east.
Because of this condition, the minimum temperature is expected to increase gradually in the coming days.
The weather conditions are likely to remain dry until the end of January .
City night temperature can float between 10-12 degrees Celsius, “said an official met.
“Night temperatures may remain below the normal range with one or two degrees Celsius, but the days are expected to remain cooler.
The day temperatures may be around 28-29 degrees Celsius in the next few days,” the official added.
At the same time, Pune City’s day temperatures and other weather stations in Madhya Maharashtra, recorded more than 30 degrees Celsius.
Shivajinagar and Lohegaon observations recorded 31.7 and 31.4 degrees Celsius.
