PUNE: The district Sunday received almost 75,000 doses of Covishield along with 11,500 doses of Covaxin on Sunday.
Pune rural captured the largest chunk of this resupply using a talk of 30,000 Covishield along with 5,000 Covaxin concentrations.
The PMC obtained 30,000 Covishield along with 4,000 Covaxin doses.
The PCMC has been allocated 15,000 Covishield along with 2,500 Covaxin concentrations.
Sanjay Deshmukh, assistant manager (medical), Pune group, ” said the area is very likely to get more doses by the Centre after this week.
“In accordance with the principles, the civic bodies are requested to vaccinate the 30-44 team also.
Half of these vaccines will be put aside for all those enrolling through CoWIN.
The remainder is going to probably be for nude registrations,” he explained.
He added that total vaccination policy will pick up speed after June 21.
In terms of policy Monday, the PMC – due to this new Covishield inventory – will give the shots from 157 designated Covid vaccination centers.
Covaxin is going to be supplied at 15 centers, with 60 percent of those vaccine doses accessible through CoWIN reservations (remainder are to get walk-ins).
Slots will start at 8am on Monday.
In PCMC limitations, 35 vaccination sites will provide Covishield doses to its 30-44 group.
The PCMC at a media statement said 50 percent of these doses will be accessible for walk-ins.
The civic body explained two centers will host Covaxin pushes for 45-plus beneficiaries because of their next dose.
On Sunday, a total of 14,808 inheritance were vaccinated from Covid round the district.
