Pune: Daily Covid-19 case restored recovery in the Pune Metropolitan area on Saturday.
A total of 936 people tested the virus positive on Saturday, pushing progressive kaseload in this area to 11.03.950.
At the same time, 853 patients were sent back, pushing the total recovery in the region to 10,77,034, according to the daily report issued by the eleven-person district health office surrendered to the region on the five days in Pappri, one in Pimpri Chinchwad, and five on Rustic bags.
It took the death toll PMR to 18,576.
A total of 28,556 samples were tested at PMR on Saturday.
With this, Saturday’s front levels for the entire region reached 3.28%.
So far, 67.25,573 samples have been tested at PMR.
PMC tested 8,733 samples (a total of 30,54,624), Pimpri Chinchwad did 4,086 tests (17.03.446), rural parts carried out 12,850 tests (a total of 16,03,850), the City Council contributed 2,020 tests (totaling 3,15,826) and Cantonments testing 137 samples (total of 47,827).
District health officials said that sample testing in rural areas of Pune Metropolitan region – recorded the highest time per day – has increased since the last few days and consistently still has a sign of 10,000.
On Saturday, there were 8,340 active cases in PMR – 4,464 patients were being treated at the hospital, while 3,876 people have chosen to house isolation.
Pune Municipal Corporation recorded 221 new cases and 254 recovery, while Pimpri Chinchwad added 168 patients and reported 147 release.
As for all regions – rural belts contributed 468 cases and 380 recovery, the city council added 72 patients and recovery 69, and Cantonment had seven new cases and three release.
