Pune: FYJC 2nd List Cut-off rises in several colleges

Pune: There is an interesting twist for the acceptance process for the first year of Junior College (FYJC) with several universities in the city registering a higher cut-off sign in the second achievement list compared to the first.
The second rate list was announced on Saturday.
At HHCP High School and Junior College for girls, cut off in the trading division was 422 in the first round but the number rose to 436 in the second half.
Changes in the cut-off sign vary from college to college because some of the top universities have maintained a decline of only two signs as in their first list.
At the same time, signs of qualifications in other universities have been reduced.
Hrishikesh Soman, Chief School of Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, said, “Often, students do not receive entrance tickets to the first round for various reasons.
In the second round, the number of seats is available less and the number of students who want the chair is high.
By Therefore, clearly, a higher cut-off sign in the second half in several colleges.
“At symbiosis, the cut-off sign in the first list for art is 467 but 469 in the second list, while in the stream trading signs up from 455 Until 459.
Meena Shendkar, Assistant Director of Education for Pune Division, urged students to check the cut-off mark of each college and change their preferences according to the next round.
He also warned students, who had allocated their first preferences, that once they refused or canceled their acceptance, they would be blocked for the next regular round and could only be applied in a special round.
Only 15,967 of 35,694 students who qualified for STD XI receipts in the centralized reception process (CAP), were transferred in college in the second round of acceptance.
After a list of allotment in the second round of the reception was released on Saturday, 63,629 seats remained empty at a junior college throughout Pune and the corporate limit of the Municipal Pimpri Chinchwad.
Students who were given acceptance, almost 6,040 were allocated their first choice.
Shendkar said that the vacancy was high because registration for reception itself was low and one possible reason for a low turn was because many students from the Marathwada and Vidarbha areas had decided not to register at Pune College, unlike previous years.
“This year the purification is lower than last year.
Covid-19 can be a reason like many parents, especially from the village, may not want or cannot send their children to Pune because of financial constraints and vice versa,” Shendkar said.
The students who were given universities in the second half would have until 6 pm on September 6 to confirm their reception.
Because the receipt process is online, students can apply for acceptance even on holidays that might arise during this period.
If a student wants to receive an entrance ticket at a junior college given, then they must click ‘proceed to enter’ in the student login and then upload the required documents before confirming the acceptance in the allocated university.
