Pune: Bibvewadi police search for six people, all criminals on police records, and five-six feet from Dattawadi for brandishing sharp weapons and firing two rounds of a unemployed man, Amit Kailas Thopte (32), in the Bibvewadi area around 11 night.

Thopte, a resident of Bibvewadi, filed a complaint to the Bibvewadi police on Monday morning.
“We have detained two men in this case on Monday night and asked them.
We will arrest in this case only after verifying the role of named people in FIR,” said the Deputy Commissioner (Zone V) Namrata Patil.
“The complainant, thopte, is also a criminal on the police record.
He has been ordered in six cases of body violations and liquor,” said Patil.
The police said Thopte and his friends chatted on the road when the suspects came to the place on several two-wheeled two-wheeled weapons.
“The ring leader, carrying a gun, fired two rounds in the thopte but the bullet missed him,” Patil said.
