Pune: Security Guards will soon be posted on the Khadakwasla Dam, Panghet and Varasgaon to prevent people from entering water.
The guards will work in three shifts, pay attention to vulnerable places and help irrigation department officials in daily work on the Dam site.
At least 10 guards will be appointed in every dam.
The irrigation department said it also planned to approach the local police station to appoint a team of police officers on the Dam site.
