PUNE: Pune is one of the 50 cities which made it into the last round of the International Mayors Challenge Competition 2021.
Approximately 631 cities in 99 nations had implemented for the contest.
Mayor Muralidhar Mohol stated that a proposal had been tabled to improve premature adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) for planning a EV-readiness program and set an EV-fund to maintain a check on vehicular pollution.
Mohol reported the last round of contest could start this month and also the evaluation would last until October.
