Pune: District rural police on Sunday enrolled a case for interior designers on charges of a woman’s fraud (39) from RS7.35 Lakh by not finishing work in the housing flats along Sinhagad.
The woman filed a complaint to Haveli police who stated that she had provided a complaint application to the police Haveli against the designer.
He then promised to finish work on November 15.
“The woman finally filed a complaint against the man, because he had not done the job,” said a police officer Haveli.
The man had finished work in the complainant kitchen after receiving RS2 Lakh from him.
“He then stopped the work and demanded more money.
Until now, the complainant had paid him Rs7.35 lakh.
But the work was delayed,” the officer said.
“The complaint has contacted an interior designer after finding details about the social media platform.
They have an agreement on March 14, after he started the job,” the officer said.
The police have ordered interior designers under Section 406 (criminal violations of trust) and 420 (cheating) from the Criminal Procedure Code.
