Pune: Chandannagar police on Wednesday ordered Nilesh Waghmare, a criminal on a record, on charges of conducting a 17-year-old boy with a knife over a dispute about not buying a protective device from a medical store in Thitevasti in Kharadi Night of 3.
August, Senior Inspector Sunil Jadhav said on Thursday, “Waghmare will be more, who recently passed the SSC exam, and offered him money to buy protective equipment but the last one refused.” He said Waghmare had taken arguments with more after he refused to listen to it.
Waghmare then took a knife from Vada Pavoutlet, brutally attacked the young man around his neck and took his heels.
“After seeking medical care, more visiting the police station on Wednesday and registered FIR related to the murder attempt against Waghmare under the 307 part of the IPC,” he said.
“We previously captured Waghmare in two cases related to body violations and under the protection of children of sexual violations,” he added.
