PUNE: A 48-year-old guy was bludgeoned to death on Tuesday evening purportedly with a 21-year-old guy after having a heated debate.
Both have been in an inebriated condition, authorities said.
The assailant flew to anger after the sufferer abused him filthy language.
Police identified the defendant as Yash Gopi, that has been taken in custody.
Gopi is currently a resident of Dapodi.
The victim was identified as Anil Shinde, along with a resident at the exact same location.
Police said about 4.30pm Tuesday, Gopi and Shinde were walking to their residence in Limbore Vasti at Dapodi.
“Both of these were drunk, and” sub-inspector Ravindra Bhavari of all Bhosari police stated.
He explained that the duo had a heated debate over a matter.
Following that, Gopi pushed Shinde down.
“Gopi subsequently bludgeoned Shinde to departure with cement cubes,” Bhavari stated.
After getting the data, police reached the area and required Gopi to custody, the officer stated.
