Pune: A 37-year-old man on Monday filed a complaint to the police Nigdi, stated that his driver fled with his bag containing Rs 19.2 lakh.
The incident occurred in the previous Akurdi in the same afternoon, when a complainant went to the computer and a printer repair shop.
Mahendra Meer Sub-Inspector Police Nigdi said Kranti Rajput complainants, residents of Ravet, carried out industrial units in Talawade.
“Around 1:30 a.m., Rajput was on his way to the bank to deposit the number.
When he reached Akurdi, he told his driver to stop at a shop because he wanted to give a printer for improvement,” he said.
Rajput stores a bag containing cash in the boot car and told the driver to stay in the vehicle.
“When he returned after about half an hour, he found the car parked, but the driver was not inside.
The key was on ignition,” Aher said.
When Rajput opened boot, he found a bag containing lost cash.
He then filed the driver firm again.
