Pune: Augmented Reality to ensure direct experience from Aarti, Darshan Online facilities and no pandal that will characterize a low-locked Ganeshotsav celebration planned by Manacha Ganapati Mandal in the city considering the third wave of Covid-19.
This will be the second consecutive year that the city’s mandal will be involved in low celebrations.
The bearer of the Dagadusheth Courte Office Healwai Ganapati said no separate pandal and decoration planned during the 10-day festival.
“We will celebrate a festival at the temple without a large celebration.
Darshan Online facilities will be available.
This trust also introduces augmented reality to provide a life experience like Aarti to worshipers.
Interest, coconut or prasad will not be accepted from worshipers.
Only the priests and a handful of priests and a few Officials involved in doing rituals will enter the temple, “said Ashok Godse, head of trust.
Shrikant Sheete of Kasba Ganapati Mandal said all protocols and guidelines by the government would be followed during the festival.
“We will continue with daily and ritual puja, but without the presence of worshipers.
There will be an online program,” Shete said.
Keshav Neurgaonkar, Secretary Shri Tombi Jogeshwari Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, said a webinar planned during a festival about social problems.
“Mandal will distribute food grains to those affected negatively during a pandemic,” Neurgaonkar said.
Vivek Khatavkar from Tulshibaug Ganapati said a series of lectures and online interviews were planned.
Pravin Pardeshi Gurui Talim Mandal said the worshipers were urged to use the online platform to offer prayer.
Bhau Rangari Ganesh Mandal has announced an online cultural festival during Ganeshotsav which featured vocalist Anand Bhate and Tabla Maestro Vijay Ghate, among others.
