Pune: More than seven Lakh recipients in this district are eligible for the second dose of Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V vaccines in September 6.
According to a report from the district health office, around 6.46 recipients of Lakh are now eligible for the second dose of the covishield.
, around 92,406 for Covaxin and 4,579 for Sputnik V.
The Cantonment area, along with Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Civic Bodies, has a beneficiary of 5.05 lakh because of the second dose of the designated vaccine.
The number of beneficiaries because their second dose will increase in mid-September because the district has recorded a total vaccination of around 17 lakh in July.
Most recipients get their first jab.
Sanjay Deshmukh, Assistant Director (Medical), Pune Circle, told Tii, “We will target the second dose settlement of the earliest beneficiaries because we receive a good vaccine supply.
The instructions have been sent to order 70% doses for the second dose and 30% for The first.
“Sanjay Patil, Chair of the Indian Medical Association Hospital (IMA), said the Ministry of Health must set a vaccination target of more than 20 lakh per month to maintain a balance between the first dose and the second dose recipient.
