Pune: 42-year-old neurologist was arrested for allegedly installing a spy camera in the bathroom and bedroom of the Trainee housing, the police said on Tuesday.
“The defendant’s doctor is a lecturer in a neurologist at a city-based medical college,” said Jagannath Kalalasascar, Senior Police Inspector, Police Station Bharti Vidyapeth.
Last week, the training doctor had tried to divert the bulb in his bathroom, however, it didn’t work.
He then called an electrician who saw a spy camera installed in the bulb.
The doctor found another spy camera in his room too, followed which he filed a police complaint.
“During the investigation, we focused on a neurologist, MD, who was detained on Monday night.
He has been sent to the police detention for two days,” added the Kalasaskar.
