PUNE: The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) has stated that no decision has been taken on beginning the admissions procedure for the present calendar year, together with all the inductees of the last season being onboarded with base courses only because the start of 2021.
The joint entry exam (JET) will likely be run from the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, for the two genders, according to the arrangement between the institutes to rather handle the JET each 2 decades.
As stated by the FTII, discussions about beginning the process for this season are still penalized.
“The JET is usually held in February and courses commence by August.
But, it’s currently the month of June.
We’re still in discussions with all the SRFTI more than if and if the admissions procedure is going to be stored.
When it’s held, the procedure will be finished by the close of the calendar year,” explained FTII manager Bhupendra Kainthola.
The 2020 batch was just able to begin courses in the start of this calendar year, using a base course being conducted on the internet.
