Pune: A total of 73,013 Doses of Covid-19 vaccine are managed throughout the Pune Metropolitan area on Saturday.
The total is one of the highest daily counts so far this month, but still lacking 1 authority of the Lakh daily vaccination target has set for the region.
This week’s fresh vaccine equipment allows civil bodies to drive from many centers.
At Pune Municipal Corporation boundaries, citizenship officials have 196 operational vaccination centers.
Authorities say drive vaccines are carried out without interruption.
Coverage in July has been problematic because of an irregular supply of vaccines.
Officials said they expected supply to be upgraded in August with private hospitals in districts expected to receive nearly 15 doses of lakh from covishield and covaxin.
The Civic-Run site is expected to get almost 10 doses of lakh.
A small hospital, where vaccine requirements of less than 6,000 doses per month, will be supplied by health services, officials said.
