Pune People Bust Gang of E Way Robbers, NAB 2 Criminals

Pune: Pune rural police on Saturday damaged a group of highway robbers with the arrest of two criminals about the police record of Khalapur in Raigad and claimed to have completed five recent robbery cases.
Three legs they are in process.
The local crime branch team led by Senior Inspector Padmakar Ghanwat caught the duo – Ganesh Waghmare (28) and Santosh Waghmode (21) – based on tip-off.
On June 12, the Durgaprasad Kahar (27) truck driver was beaten and robbed by RS70,000 by four unidentified men when Kahar was sleeping in his truck, parked along Pune-Mumbai aptway.
“After the incident, some truck drivers were robbed on the toll road.
The local crime branch has opened an investigation after the burst in a similar case.
We received information about the involvement of gangs from Khalapur,” Ghanwat said.
Ghanwat said, “The team put a trap in Khalapur and took the duo to detention.
During the question, they recognize their involvement in five recent incidents.”
