PUNE: Joint commissioner of town authorities Ravindra Shisve on Monday issued an order limiting movement of individuals for non-essential functions from 3pm to 7am from Tuesday until June 15 as part of the movement to examine the spread of Covid-19.
The order said that individuals shouldn’t step out of the homes with no legitimate reason due to the revised limitations prescribed by the state authorities and the civic body with the effect from Tuesday (June 1).
Shisve within his order issued under Section 144 (1)(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code said individuals could travel in crisis situation or for key purposes from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limitations.
1″The authorities will take action regarding disobedience under Section 188 of the Penal Code and applicable privisions of the Epidemic Diseases Act against individuals discovered violating the limitations,” Shisve’s sequence read.
