PUNE: The Rajgad authorities in rural Pune reserved 13 people – including six girls – on the cost of breaking up the Covid-19 limitations by partying in a farmhouse at Kelwade at Bhor taluka from the Pune-Bengaluru street from the wee hours of Saturday.
This is the fourth such event within the last fortnight.
Earlier, the police had broken similar celebrations in farmhouses in regions near Khadakwasala dam backwaters and close to Donje in the foothills of this Sinhagad fort.
About 2am on Saturday, the authorities got the hint that a celebration was going on at the Kelwade farmhouse.
After reaching the place, a police group containing inspector Sandeep Ghorpade, sub-inspector Shrikant Joshi and many others, discovered that blaring music has been acting at the two-storey, brightly lit farmhouse.
“The youthsin their 20s and 30s, were taken into custody and a case has been filed against them for violating the Covid-19 regulations and also to get an unlawful gathering,” Dhananjay Patil, deputy superintendent of police, explained.
