Pune: Police Cybercrime on Friday destroyed the call center in New Delhi and arrested four people to deceive a 37-year-old woman of Rs 9.25 lakh with the pretext of offering work in a multinational company between March 1 and 9 this year.
The woman from VadgaShereri has uploaded its profile on the work portal and is looking for better prospects.
The police said the suspect with the pretext of offering work with a handsome salary to pay a varied cost but he failed to get a job.
After the woman asked them to pay for the money, they again lured her to pay various charges and cheat her to a sheet of more than Rs 9.25 lakh.
The police help women in seeking Rs 9.13 lakh transfers from a fraudulent bank account.
