Pune: 45-year-old professor, suffering from depression, on Tuesday afternoon ending his life by jumping into the well in Saswad.
The victim has posted a suicide note on the social networking site.
The police identified the deceased as a meshram pram, assistant professor with female engineering colleges based in the city.
“The professor jumped into the well on the field in Bhiivri village in Saswad, in the country’s countryside.
In a suicide record, he claimed that no one had to be responsible for his death,” Inspector Annasaheb Gholap from Police Saswad said Wednesday.
