Pune: Police Swargate on Sunday caught Sajjan Kappurhand Gusinge (28), a resident of Ambad in Jalna, on charges of appearing as a proxy for a candidate from Beed in the Mumbai police recruitment exam at Maharshinagar here.
Police said Gusinge used a fake hall ticket.
They have also ordered Beed candidates for whom Gusinge appeared as a proxy, and he had been called for further investigation.
Cases of fraud, criminal violations of trust and forgery have been submitted in this matter.
