Thane: Bhiwandi’s police on Sunday reunited a girl, who had escaped from her house in Pune and lived as a boy on a path in the city, with her mother.
The girl first came to Mumbai a few days ago and then reached the Shanti Nagar Bhiwandi area in the car from the omelet.
The police said that the girl cut her hair and would dress as a boy to protect himself and hide his identity.
“The Beat Marshal in charge of first watching the boy slept on the path and asked about his existence.
However, he did not provide any information.
Then, Marshal told the police on duty and he was asked to take the boy to the police..
At the police station , We know that he is actually a girl and not a man, “said a police officer from Bhiwandi police in the Thane Maharashtra district.
Shiter Raut, PI from the Shanti Nagar Police Station, said that after many persuading many, the girl told them that she was from Hadapansar and therefore, they contacted the local police station to get more details.
However, he did not reveal why he left his house.
“The girl lives like a boy to protect himself.
He will also speak like a boy so no one can recognize him and will tell his name as Sameer Shaikh,” the police said.
Police Hadadadan has filed a lost complaint, and thus, they relate to the member of the girl’s family.
The police told that at first, the girl was not ready to talk to anyone through a telephone call.
However, when he was connected via WhatsApp video call and his identity was established, he talked to his mother.
The next day, the girl was handed over to her mother who came with her aunt to accept it.
