Schools and colleges in Pune will be reopened from February 1, announcing the Ajit of Pawar, Deputy Chief of Maharashtra minister on Saturday.
It will be a four-hour class (half day) for grade 1 to 8 while grade 9 to 10 will have a school according to the regular schedule.
“Schools and colleges will be reopened in Pune District from February 1.
For grade 1 to 8, school timings will be half of regular timings, but for grade 9 to 10, the school will run according to regular schedule.
High school will also function according to Regular time, “said Pawar.

Further decisions for grade 1 to 8 will be taken at the next meeting”, Panwar said.
According to pawar, the reopening of schools for class 9 and above will help in increasing vaccination.
For universities, students who have received vaccine doses will only be allowed to attend offline classes.
Earlier in the month, the Maharashtra government announced the closure of the school amid the increase in Covid-19 cases.
